Senses and Stuff

This article describes how Hub cells are used to alert the brain that there are features similar to something in mind when feeling an object. The Cortex was used to figure out how neurons adapt as a result of environmental change. In the future, this team is planning on figuring out how brain circuits may function for memory. I think overall this article was very interesting because of the function of Hub cells when trying to find and item or like when Jerry Chen said you're not using your sense of sight so you have to rely on these cells to formulate what you're looking for.  Article Link: https://www.bu.edu/articles/2022/illuminating-the-sense-of-touch-new-neurobiology-research/

BioHeroes

My birthday is November 3rd so my hero has abilities related to the parietal lobe and Acetylcholine. The parietal lobe heightens my sense of touch and the Acetylcholine carries messages from the brain to the body. My hero's name is Pre-Sensory. The origin story of Pre-Sensory is when her parents died because of a murder and she always wished she could have had a heads up from her senses to have stopped the event from taking place. Now, she uses her powers to fight evil by sending messages to people who are about to be victims of attack and she combats the aggressor by limiting their senses with her sensory-limiting taser so they are at a disadvantaged if they try to do anything bad.

I then advanced to the second highest band as a seventh grader and finally made honor band in eighth grade. I hadn't made region band my seventh grade year even though I tried out. I made second chair in the top band my eighth grade year--musical milestone 1. I then came into the high school and made the top band. I made region band every year and ranked high enough to advance to area each year. As a sophomore, I was 7 chairs from making All-state. I worke...
